It starts in Frankfort where we rented a car. The first stop was Rothenburg and then to Wertzburg; Worthenburg; Tauberbischofsheim; Lauda-Koningshofen; Rottingen; Creglingen; Wilkersheim; Dinklesbuhl; Nordlingen; Augsburg; Aichach-Friedburg; Landsberg am Lech; Hohenfurch; Peiting; Rottenbuch; Wildsteig; Steingaden; Hoblech; Schwangau; Fussen and Oberammergau. In Oberammergau we stayed at a Heidi like Farmhouse with all the modern conveniences (steam heat and wonderful bathrooms). From the Farmhouse we went to Ludwig’s castles, Saltzburg, Berchtesgaden, Eagles Nest and Munich.
